Snapping turtles are probably one of my top turtles of all time.
Not only do they do a great job cleaning up the lakes and streams, they are also very photogenic. I hope to include some underwater footage of this one in an upcoming video, so stay tuned for that, but for now, it's photos! Enjoy!

Rescued one from a highway in Al. a few years ago. The "wannabe" cowboys like to try running them over in their pickups.
