I have never before seen the moon so close to the sun!
Look at the left wing of this plane (armpit) and you can see the reflection of the sun. I saw a faint shimmer in the shot on my camera and checked the lens to see if it was clean. Not a spot on the lens and when I transferred the photos from my camera to this PC, my eyes lit up with delight! It was the sun's reflection!

A warm and peaceful shot! The first photo was late afternoon and here the sunset started. 5 crows in the light!
Of course the moon was in attendance during the sunset show!
And finally towards the East, we see some precision flying by a "Sacred Ibis" family!
I sincerely hope that you have enjoyed today's "look at the sky" session. Since we moved in here, two guys have now told me that all the years that they have been staying here, they never noticed the top of the high tree in the back garden. Now they say that it is the first thing that they look at when they arrive home from work. They thanked me for awakening the beauty of the skies in their minds!
Yet others regard me as slightly mental to be walking around with a camera at 4 or 5am on freezing mornings before the sunrise. That is my nature, as also at the Papillon charity, when I do something I pour my heart and soul into it!
I can easily sit dead still for hours with nothing to drink or eat, as long as I get the shot that I wanted. I have to thank my mother for this habit as she used to banish me to my room for whole days when I was naughty!
Patience is what it's all about!
Why rush around through life if you are only on a temporary journey on this earth?

My favorite shots were of the moon. I especially enjoyed the one with the airplane. Love how the sun is reflecting off of the side of the plane.

Thank you and yes, I used only the zoom! For a long time I hoped to get clear shots of the moon, but my old small camera couldn't take clear shots. Now I almost take shots of the moon on a daily basis! Blessings! @apteacher
