Here we have a beautiful Geranium slowly strangling a Prune tree!
And this beauty jumped up in a bed that's being prepared for the planting of Petunias.
Look what's made it's home in the new Rose bed.
Here we have a beauty that invaded this garden lawn.
Unobtrusively they invade our lives, beautiful people with great words and oh so friendly.
We open up to them and we trust them and this is when they start to take over our lives.
Slowly but surely they start to strangle the life out of us.
Until we become as bitter as the weed!
At other instances they invade our lives with a sad story and we feel sorry for them.
In the process of helping them a friendship is developed and eventually it turns sour.
But at this stage we are too deeply involved, or we have much to lose, so we stay.
This is called self castigation and it invariably ends in a mount of tears and bitterness.
I have only given two short examples about how the weeds invade our lives.
But what does nature teach us about weeds?
You rip them out and the hole where they grew is soon restored to its former self.
At whatever cost to yourself, rip out the weeds in your life!
Your body was not built to carry bitterness, as it results in ill health.
Your mind was not created to carry thoughts of anger, desperation and negativity.
No! You were created in the image of true Light and in light there is no darkness.
Think about it!
