#9 Sloes. These edible berries are called "prunelle" in French, it means "small plums". Don't pick them to early, because they would be to acidic. Wait for the end of Autumn to pick this tiny survival fruit.

Great pictures. I often visit the Black Forest, but I think next Time I will have look on the other side of the Rhine.

Thanks! I like to visit the Black Forest too, by hiking, cycling... I think it's wonderful too! You'll probably enjoy the French side of the Rhine :)
