Cats of Morocco

in photography •  7 years ago  (edited)

While many cities are filled with stray dogs, the streets of the Moroccan cities I visited were filled with wandering cats.
Many of them were friendly, most of them were diseased, but each one I met was a very polite citizen of the city (especially the stone one).

Fun fact: the stone lion in the last picture, found in the mountain town of Ifrane, was carved by a German soldier during WWII, when the town was briefly used as a camp for POWs.

Nice work. I love the casual spirit of the cats just chillin’.
