I'd keep the downvotes to only when necessary and not to downvote people for their criticism. It's needless and like shooting spitballs at people that can fire back with heavy ammo.

A fine example of one who just got it all wrong in one short self-igniting moment. I never even downvoted her... but when you have 10,000 followers on YouTube you might not really notice who is who.
