Okay So I’ve been pondering on this for some time now, I think I have come up with a conclusion but let’s see.
In the past I’ve really struggled with emotionally eating. Eating that makes me happy in 2008 I gain over 100lbs not excising my favorite food was sixlets and monster energy drinks. Playing video games, drinking and eating my weight in food that was nothing but my poison. I really had nothing going for me but my weight. At my biggest I was 318.5lbs yes I still remember that number because I was at the lowest point in my life.
I had graduated the year before in 2007 so I was really just working to eat and play video games. My life changed in November of 2008 when my work friend now one of my best friends told me something that still sticks with me now. “Cody where do you see yourself in the future? “ My answer was nothing short of, I’ll still be working here. My friend said,” Cody you really need to look at the mirror you’re poisoning yourself every day you eat and eat all that garbage.” I looked at her (as I broke down crying in the lunch room of our work I’ll have you know.) I know but I can’t stop it makes me happy.
Long story short we got are work to sponsor a biggest loser that was a 12 week program. This was just a take on the tv series. I lost over 100lbs in this program, won the biggest loser and have since than I have fallen back into this black hole of eating for happiness. I’m now currently down 30lbs but this time I took my health into control. I starting in February at the weight of 283 along with eating, exercising and eating mostly plantbased. I’m happier then I was eating the poison.
I hope to be at my goal of 200lbs in December 2018 and continuing down to 180lbs by next year. I want to run a 10k, half marathon, and a marathon!

It seems to me that people undermine themselves when they concentrate too heavily on weight goals. I get really hungry when I decide to lose a given amount weight.
A better path is to concentrate on creating a healthy diet along with a healthy life style like the 10,000 steps a day thing.
Good luck with whatever goal you set.
