My first entry for the desolation SteemitPhotoChallenge. Taken at Leirhnjúkur lava field in Iceland. Glowing smoke from an erupting volcano can be seen in the background. Canon 1Ds MkIII, iso 200, 70-200mm lens at 70mm, f7.1, 6s. Processed in Lightroom with VSCO. My original work, not uploaded elsewhere.
