FANTASY ISLAND....want to go there?

I think one of the coolest locations in the Los Angeles area, is tucked away in thick brush, hidden by towering palm trees. Funny thing is many locals don't even know that it's there. I got a chance to go to this spot for some night shooting a while back. A little bit of light painting turned this dark scary scene into a pretty picture. Before I show it to you, this place was made famous by a TV show. Here's the back side...

When we finally hiked around to the front, the porch and pond was all we could see.

But then we pulled out our flash lights and revealed the beauty standing before us.

I can hear Tattoo ringing the bell at the open of Fantasy Island now. Oh, in case you are ever in L.A., this TV Treasure known as The Queen Anne Cottage, is located at the Arboretum in Arcadia. Its worth the trip.
