I drove down to Luzern earlier this year to deliver the documents needed for my Russian travel visa, so that I could visit my beloved girlfriend (now fiancée) a month later. After I was done with the bureaucracy, I decided to take a short walk before driving back, as it was an unusually warm and sunny day for February in Switzerland. I joined the tourists at the shore (it was during work hours, so it was mostly me, some retired folks, and tourists) and enjoyed the breathtaking sight of the alps for a while.
