Today we will talk about Shutter speed!
Shutter speed is very important in night photography, beacause this is like a sword with 2 bezels>
First,if you put your shutter speed to a very slow speed ,you will get much more light but you will have shaky photos, and this is not what e want.
This represent a very shaky photo ,but at the end we have very interesting photo! :D
Also anoather example of very shaky photo---
Second, if you put your shutter speed to be very fast(in night photography fast means 1/100,hahaha)you will not get shaky photos but you will block a lot of light ,and flash to put right expousure will kill all the ambient lights.
In this phoot you see how you have a lot of details but you don't have ambient light...
Third, the combination of this to things,You need a very good flash to combinate tis to things,.You need a flash with "shutter at second courtain" .This means taht you will slow the shutter speed but at the end of closing the "sensor" the flash will activate enought time and you will get photos like this(combination)!
And anoather one---
Some tips for beginners
Put your shutter speed at 1/13 and slowly bring it up until you find "Sweet shutter speed"
.What i mean, put it at low shutter speed and take some photos until u get a sharp photo but also with enought ambient light!
P.S this was first lesson, next lesson we will talk about aperture
