The meadow is awash in green,
The grass is soft beneath my feet.
The trees are tall and full of shade,
The sky is cloudy, yet so bright.

　The bushes sway in gentle breeze,
　The birds sing out their summer songs.
　The sun is warm upon my face,
　I feel at peace, amidst the throngs.

　　I close my eyes and take a deep breath,
　　The air is filled with summer scents.
　　I feel the joy of being alive,
　　In this beautiful meadow, this day.

I am content to simply be,
To bask in the summer sun.
To let the worries of the world
Just drift away, like clouds on the run.

　This is a moment I will cherish,
　A memory I will hold dear.
　A summer's day in the meadow,
　A time of peace and happiness.
