Beneath the boughs of the old oak tree,
An umbrella stands, a silent plea.
For respite from the sun's harsh glare,
Or sudden downpour, a burden to bear.

　But though it stands alone, a solitary soul,
　It speaks of kindness, a comforting role.
　A promise of refuge, a haven to find,
　From the elements, both gentle and unkind.

　　So let us remember, when skies turn gray,
　　There's always shelter along life's way.
　　A friend, a loved one, a hand to hold tight,
　　To weather the storm and see the morning's light.
