ENJOY SOME COLORFUL FLOWER PHOTOS FOR FATHER'S DAY!

Here is a a new Petunia I am growing this year. It is called Raspberry Swirl. I hope to get some better photos of this one and share them at a later date.

Things have went well this morning with pulling this post together so I am able to get it uploaded a day earlier than planned. I hope to take advantage of the nice weather and and finish my planting in the garden. My earlier plantings are already needing weeding. I start a lot of plants like squash, that need a long growing season, in pots to give them a head start. Once I get these plants in the garden I have my version of a raised bed that I need to plant as well. I may work on the raised beds tomorrow. My daughter is spending some time with me tomorrow so I may elicit some help. When I am finished with the project I will share in a post.

I ran into a glitch with the donations for Ana. Gofundme sent me an email saying the last payment will be refunded. I emailed them and they are concerned when someone makes several donations like I have is up to no good. WHAT? I am not clear how, when it is a donation that it could be anything questionable. I had to supply documentation of who I was (ID), how I knew Ana, and my Facebook URL. I even sent them a link to my Steemit account so they could see how the money was raised. I have done this, so now it is a wait and see situation. I will keep you informed as to how this unfolds. In the event they do refund the money I sent (sounds like it is just the latest donation) I will try and find another way to get it to Ana's project. If I am unable to do this then I will do a post and all of you can help me decide where the funds should go. I am sad that this has happened because only a little over half of the money has been raised for Ana's surgery.

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY TO ALL THE FATHERS OUT THERE

Here is a second Petunia...I do not recall the name, but I always try and get a red Petunia in my mix of Petunias. I should have more Petunias photos in upcoming posts.

I found this butterfly or moth on my front step a couple of days ago. I could not find it in my butterfly pamphlet. I thought it was very pretty and then it opened its wings a little to display more beautiful markings.

This next flower is a macro-view of a Lupine that I shared a few posts ago.

I will close with a beautiful Pansy. I will let her colors and markings speak for themselves.

That brings us to the close of this weekend's post. I was not sure I could finish it today, but I got on a roll and kept going with it. I hope you each find at least one photograph that touches you.

I am using a Canon EOS Rebel T5 for all of these photographs, except where noted. When I use a photo of my game camera I try to make note of it. It is usual of wildlife.

There is another user (https://steemit.com/@theunion) that is trying to help Spanish speaking peoples in the Americas. If I am understanding correctly they will also support users who's first language is other than Spanish. One of my followers (@francyrios75) does some of her posts in English and some in Spanish. I highly recommend a visit to @francyrios75 blog. She has shown up in @the unions posts. She is a fantastic photographer and a very good writer. A must view of @the unions posts to find some additional great posts.
