My macro equipment that helped me take photos like in the previous article is made of 2 extension tubes with a total lenght of 60mm and an old Nikon 55mm f/2.8 lens. For the light i used a Nikon sb900 flash at full 1/1 power. But the key in getting that special light is the difusser. It is very simple to make it and inside you can wrap it up in aluminium foil so it further amplify the power or the least leave it white. After that put some kitchen paper towels in front of it until you get the light that you want.

This is an upgrade to the previous diy difuser + Nikon SB-900. The difference is that the current setup (flash + diy) is 250g and the light is even better. The previous one with the sb-900 had 750g. Also the light works very well with Nikon 105mm f/4 micro + raynox dcr-250 which gives a better working distance (7cm).
