It was one of the must have points on our list when choosing our next city: to be running, cycling, sports friendly. And Valencia is one of the friendliest cities for moving your body outdoors.
With such a beautiful and big park, such as Turia, running through the middle of the city, it's no wonder that many people here are making good use of its alleys, every single day.
No matter what time you go, you'll always see someone running, cycling, walking, working out with a personal trainer, training in a group, doing yoga, pilates, tai chi or whatever form of physical training.
It's such a joy to see so many people into sports in this town. And it's perfect for me and @dragosroua as we are both into yoga and running.
I went for a walk in the park today just after sunset. Even if it gets dark quite early, around 6 p.m., the park was brimming with sporty people.
I caught a snapshot of a very chatty runners group:
And here's a group of kids going through a group workout:
The other day, while there was still some light I took a few more pics of people doing sports.
Here's a woman with a personal trainer:
And some runners, walkers and people on bikes:
It feels good to be in such a sports friendly environment!
Namaste
