You do not need an expensive home studio lighting decoration to take amazing portraits - a window and a reflector can help you to create stunning natural light beyond extra costs.

Put your model in the corner of the window and use white or silver reflection to open a shadow across their faces. A silver reflector will give light crisper quality than a white one, though the effect will not be good.

Be aware of any color casts described in other features of the glass - a beautiful green lawn can provide ill skin tones, when a patio in the evening will be reflected in sunlight warm light.
