Amatciems, a beautiful Paradise unknown in Latvia (Photos+Video)

Hello friends of steemit, today I want to tell you about a place that is in my greatest dreams, a beautiful place, that seems to be taken from a fairy tale, it is a place that without a doubt I want to visit someday!

Amatciems is located 80 km from Riga, the capital of Latvia, and 12 km from Cēsis, which has about 20,000 inhabitants, if you want to buy a house in a secluded place in the world and little known this is your place, you can buy a house located in a spectacular natural landscape of indescribable beauty.

Here the roads are not paved, Amatciems is a place where the person who builds a house must do so carefully to fit the existing landscape. It must meet two main criteria - a new house should not hide the beautiful natural landscapes and allow around the privacy of the neighbors.

The materials used for the construction are ecological

Three types of structures are used - wooden frames, trunks and masonry that are complemented by natural stone facades, decorative wooden sheating, plaster or painted glass from the exterior walls.
In the concept of each house four types of roofs are allowed - thatched roofs, carved trunks, ceramic or cement tiles. This does not mean that they are limited in their choice. New ideas are always welcome

Regarding public services

Each and every plot is connected to the public services network, that is, - water supply, sewerage, electricity and fiber optic cable.

Amatciems only has natural reserves of fresh water - ponds, lakes and streams. All the deposits are interconnected to feed each other in the air currents and avoid flooding in periods of rain.

It really is a hidden paradise, do not you think?

Yeah, beautiful..! The location of the house in your second pic is awesome. I can imagine doing jogging through the mild meadows. I bet it has dark skies at night, very suitable for doing star hopping or astrophography. Thanks for sharing!
