This cute Green Tree Frog found me before I spotted her.
If you look for them you will find these small grasshoppers are everywhere! This one is missing his right antenna too, hmmm...
If you look closely you may find a surprise, like this Cuban Tree Frog hiding under a bridge.
Brown Anoles are always watching you... spooky!
The Southern Leopard Frog blends into their surroundings well, but if you come close they will hop about 6 feet away in one jump!
An adult Southeastern Five-lined Skink. This one looks very fat and happy. I love the electric blue tails on the babies.
There is no shortage of Dragonflies in North Florida. You can count on seeing them when you go outside.
My favorite wild animal, my daughter Kiko, showing off her lizard catching skills with this Brown Anole. She is always very careful not to hurt them and abides by the catch, inspect and release policy.

Your daughter, Kiko is a pretty little girl with an obvious care for all kinds of living creatures. You are a good parent to teach her to observe and respect. This was a wonderful nature walk with sometimes unobserved and often times unappreciated species types. Thanks for bringing them to us for a closer look.
