Floriade - a flower festival in Canberra, Australia

in photography •  7 years ago

Floriade is a flower festival held in Canberra, the capital of Australia.  It is an annual festival held early spring (September), and often attracts many people to Canberra (which is usually quiet, about a four hour drive from Sydney).  I went back in 2013 and with my trusty Canon 60D and 70-200mm f/2.8, had a great, peaceful weekend taking shots.

Here's some of my shots (excuse the quality; they were hosted on my Photobucket account and I was not willing to spend $400 a year to keep the third party hosting privileges they used to provide, so they were downloaded and rehosted to my Flickr account).

I hope to share more of my photography and travels!
