Hout Bay is a coastal suburb of Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa and lies in a beautiful valley on the Atlantic Seaboard of the Cape Peninsula. It's Afrikaans name is Houtbaai (Wood Bay). Hout Bay's residence range from the very wealthy to the very poor. Popular leisure activities would include pubbing, angling, yachting, sunbathing and a must for tourists would be visiting the World of Birds and taking a trip to Seal Island to view the seals. For dining out you would be spoilt for choice with all Hout Bays many restaurants and takeaways.

Wow! It looks like an incredible place! Great photos!

Hout Bay is probably the best part of Cape Town after Llandudno. Glad you enjoyed the pics. Part 2 is now up and worth a browse.

My home town.

Was mine for a year back in 2000 or so. Great place. 👍😊
