Very nice post and cute penguins. Do you know if that beach is open to the public or a nature reserve. I hope those lovely penguins are protected. Cheers

Hi liberian. Certain parts are restricted like the breeding areas but the penguins don't always stick by the rules and there are places where you can get close to them but it is advised not to get to close by the authorities after all they are wild animals. They aren't shy and will come within a few feet of you with no care in the world.

Thanks for sharing your pictures with all of us! :D
I have a question though--is it warm or cold where these penguins live? I looked for ice in the pictures but saw none, so it makes me wonder if it is warm instead! I don't think I have ever heard of penguins living in a warm climate but that doesn't mean they don't. ^_^

Hi glowgirl. No snow in Cape Town for them to enjoy. In fact it can get very hot. I guess they dart in and out of the sea to stay cool. They seem to love basking in the sun.

That's really neat. :D Thanks for responding!
