Yes, Vietnam. Platoon was insulting and Hamburger Hill was only Ok. There's a movie called The Siege of Firebase Gloria that was halfway accurate. My SS 396 is long gone. This is what I drive now...

I noticed and will try to see The Siege of Firebase Gloria, never heard about it before.
I served in our tiny Luxembourgish Army for three years, from '81 till '84 and always admired, and still do, the guys who fought in Vietnam. I never understood how they could have been threatened so unfairly by parts of the civil population after the war.
This is a cool sports car, but I do not see the make or model.

It's a 1983 Datsun 280ZX Turbo I think they only made about 1500 of the turbo models.
