Today I'm relaxing with an H Mynors 2014 old
Zinfandel vine cuvee. Cuvee implies a special blend, and in this case the blend is from old vine grapes from Sonoma, Amador and Lodi regions (all in northern California).
It was a little jammy when I first opened it but now that I've been sipping for an hour it's mellowed out into a peppery boldness.
I try not to eat to much red meat anymore but a streak really called my name today, and it went great with this wine. Cheers to Wine Sunday!
