I have seen 'fake monks' in many cities around the world, usually playing the same trick of slapping on a cheap bracelet on your wrist before you can say NO then demanding cold hard cash in return or threatening you with bad luck otherwise. This monk became quite irate when i lifted up my camera and cursed me in Chinese, something along the lines of "F#@k your mother".. not very Buddhist imo. If he or any of his pals ever stop you, be sure to snap their photo for a laugh. Has anybody else ever run into of any of these guys?
