Small wonder Michigan agate

in photography •  7 years ago

Just because it's smaller than a finger tip doesn't make it any less special! This agate was found in host basalt, chiseled out, cut on a lapidary saw and polished on a flat lap.

Should i have ignored it based on its size?

Love the colors and pattern in that one!

Hey you never comment on MY posts.... lolzzz....

Definitely worth it! I would have accidentally lost something that small. How on earth did you cut it with it being so tiny?

On the thinnest blade they sell and very carefully! Sometimes these ones break. Since this one was fracture free it survived!

Very, very carefully! I'd probably lose a finger! Haha!
