The days are long, and often quite hot. And by the end of the day there is not too much energy left in the tank, but as we head out on the evening game drive and look to see what show Mother Nature puts on, its usually closer to sunset that things begin to come to life. But this post is not about that.
Some of the most spectacular sunsets I've seen have been on game drive. The colours, the setting, iconic acacia trees silhouetted by a huge setting fireball, and the relief from the african heat, as cooler gentle breezes begin to bring out the nocturnal animals.
Tonight, a lovely summer evening, with a number of long wispy clouds could bring more of the same magical artwork in the skies before the celestial light show begins to reveal itself.
