in the bitter cold walking on the ice of the freshwater reservoir during sunset, you can hear the ice cracking from the temperature difference around.. sounds like wine glasses, glass clinks and gurgles liquid. appears irresistible incentive to be on solid ground , though the mind realizes that the ice thickness of one meter and nothing bad will happen.
