The art of observation.

Hi, you probably never heard about me.
The good thing is, it's about to change.
So my name is Ron, and I live in Israel. Yes, that place.
So far my life has been doing it's perfect job at remaining mediocre. Simple. Pretty darn average.
I was a really weird kid at school, not to mention socially awkward, with quite exquisite other interests than most of the other kids. And for that I was sentenced to a life of exile. I pretty much had it coming with my personal humor and way of saying things. But that's a whole other story.
After 25 years of being socially awkward, computer game addict and an overall weirdo, I decided it's time to switch my game plan and start my "normal" life. You know what kind of normal i'm talking about. Girlfriend, steady job, a set of loving and supportive group of friends. Sounds... average. Which is kind of a paradox because so far like I said my life has been... average.
I've longed for this lifestyle for a while now and it has come to my attention that I should actually back away from it. Cause in reality, I've lived like this the whole time. Except... I wasn't happy like I thought I would be.
I mean, I do love my girl, and I really like my friends. But... life has allot more into it than just getting a steady job and paying your bills. I'm sure you all know that by now. If you don't, I hope this post will help you figure it out.

Lately i've surrendered myself into this "unique" hobby of mine, photography. Problem is, everyone's a photographer these days. I want to be special and different from anybody else because I'm used to it, always been the outcast - exiled - awkward kid.
So I decided to do what I do best. Explain things.
I've learned that you can take all sorts of different types of photographs just by observing. Let me explain.
Let's say you're looking at a statue, And that statue has this geometric shape to it. It's a big triangle, and that's it.
One of my hobbies is to think like other people, or imagine how they think, or what they had in mind at that time.
So then I start my OBSERVATION. Here is a total new way of looking at things. A very easy way to learn new things just by spending extra time, trying to learn more about the thing you're observing at.
Much like life itself.

You get into a certain situation, and you react in anyway possible. Some reactions are impulsive and some are really thought through. Recently i've learned to take my time before solving my puzzles.
Puzzles are quite interesting. They are made into 1 piece and then somehow destroyed so they can be put back together again.
Even though there is only 1 solution to it. There are so many ways to get to it. This is where the good stuff come out. This is where you are truly revealed to yourself. Putting those parts back together in your own way is what makes you unique. There's no good or bad, there's just different. No judgement, or opinions of others to interfere. Just... you.
And I've came to realize that it's a craft. You are a craft, the more you hone it the more you get better at it. The better Ron I am. And I know that's it's good because these are my own decisions and I know what good for me. You do you.

Remember that statue I was talking about?

Observe, observe, observe.
