On a jolly stroll to a friends house, unsuspecting anything, I heard a loud grunt of what sounded as a big crowd.
Walking towards the source of ruckus I started seeing police cars and busses. In a minute I saw the whole crowd coming out a tunnel in the centre of the city.
It turned out to be a football (soccer) fan mod.
It’s crazy how much rioting and anarchy happen around football games in Bulgaria. The “fans” are convoyed by police but that doesn’t stop them from breaking stuff on the way and throwing bottles rocks and verbal abuse all over.
I’ve grown to see this as an odd Balkan charm but I’m sure not everyone feels as comfortable passing trough such crowds

What do you think? Is this part of the game or a totally separate way of participating in the sport?

This was the scene from further away. Both shots are taken on Kodak colorplus- the second one is desaturated

Football hooligans are silly. Getting into a fight for "fun". What a waste of time. Great photos though!
