      I quite like snails. I picked one up one the other day and got a lot of slime on my hands. It doesn't wash away easily and it got me thinking. I do a lot of long distance trail running and one the issues is chaffing. I use various products and mostly they work ok but I think the slime from a snail beats it hands down and it's cheaper! Next time I'm in the woods and the chaffing products are wearing off, I will just find a snail, gently pick it up and rub it on the necessary areas and gently return it. Great post.
