Many claim that my home of South Australia is bland and boring. I’ll have to disagree with that.

South Australia has endless gems hidden amongst itself and my mission is to capture them through my photography. This photo in particular, I took of my dear cousin in the canola fields of The Barossa Valley, and may I say, it is one of my favourite photos I’ve taken thus far.

My parents used to work on canola fields when they lived in Romania, and to this day they never fail to remind me when the canola is in bloom. I always wanted to photograph the endless fields of golden yellow, and so on this day, I set off with my cousin for an 8 hour adventure, exploring the backstreets of our beautiful city, capturing only a scratch of South Australia’s surface.

I look forward to posting some more of my little adventures with all of you!
