Colorchallenge - FridaySkyblue, how to make balance in land and sky colors

in photography •  7 years ago  (edited)

Hi Dears,

Here is my #ColorChallenge for Friday and some tips for these who like photography.

Geneva lake - Vevey

When you shooting sky with clouds you may probably faced problem in right exposition balance between heaven and land especially if there is some other lights on the land.
If you focus on clouds you will get dark land, if you focus on land you will get too bright clouds and if middle something not impressive.

Blow is some examples to explain you what i meant.

Good clouds but dark land

Better land but not impressive clouds

How to fix this problem? The answer is "bracketing function" in your camera, tripod and some work in Photoshop.

So what you need to do to get impressive colors of sky and land in one picture

  • Setup your camera on tripod
  • Switch on auto bracketing function
  • Choose best composition
  • Shoot you photo from remote control if you don't have one don't worry just switch on auto delay function
  • Merge all 3 pics in Photoshop and then open preferred layers using mask and maybe a little bit adjust curves

Thanks to @kalemandra and @colorchallenge for this great initiative

This is beautiful. I need to visit Switzerland.

Every single place in Switzerland is beautiful!
It is so nice country that I'd love to leave there!
