Maybe 5 miles of walking with my boys in their squeaky stroller, on a beautiful Saturday afternoon.

The skies are super clear after a day of hard rain, and all the roses are beautiful in front of the Fire Administration building.

The original South Pacific Railroad Depot was built in 1916 and has been The Depot restaurant since 1971.

Visalia is building a new police department building just on the edge of downtown in an open field along a Creek which runs under most of downtown.

I was almost hit by a car turning the wrong way onto a one way road. I wanted a photograph of the old Tulare County Courthouse from an alley that centers the building.

I'm @runridefly, and this is a beautiful California day for a long walk.

@etcmike, it's a nice downtown. You have a nice weekend as well my friend.

Thanks for sharing-- been past Visalia lots of times on the way from Washington to the high desert/Joshua Tree... but have never stopped there.

Great food in downtown, so maybe you stop. Really good Italian, Mediterranean and Mexican restaurants.
