A photo by Agence France Presse (AFP) venezuelan photographer Ronaldo Schemidt nominated for the Picture of the Year 2018 in the World Press Photo 2018 Contest

The picture shows how the venezuelan José Víctor Salazar (28yrs) rushes out as a human torch when hit by a jet of gasoline from a Bolivarian National Guard motorcycle, which was captured and burned by demonstrators with a ''Molotov cocktail'' during clashes with riot police within a protest against Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro, in Caracas in May last year.
