I recently took interest in film photography, and these are some of my photos

cheers, my name is sahal, i'm from Indonesia. and in recent years, i have noticed that film photography is resurfacing, so I thought I'd give it a shot, why not right? . so here are some of the pictures that I shot using a various type of film cameras, point and shoot, or rangefinder

I took this in Amsterdam, the moment we landed on Schipol International Airport, using an expired fujicolor film roll, the color is just cool to me. at the time I didn't knew much about film photography and I didn't even notice that it's an expired film, and I'm kinda confused as to why the color came out kinda weird, but I really love it. these are some of the example shot that I took with the expired film.

I know that some of you probably thinking, you could have just snap pictures on your phone and put filters on it, and you're probably right,hahaha ..but to me this is a new thing that I love doing, and while the outcome is pretty much the same as just snapping pictures with your phone, I really enjoy the whole experience of it, from loading the film, carefully choose what you want to shoot since there's only 36 frames or even sometimes 24 in every film roll, trying to make each shot counts , to just the sheer anticipation of waiting for the film to be developed and scanned and sent back to you.

So yeah..this is my first post on steemit. I still have a lot more in my gallery, but then I thought maybe I should space it out, and share another one in my other post. so if you want to see more of my photos, please do let me know.
