Grasshoppers are insects that eat plants or foliage, which is why they belong to herbivores.
There are various types of grasshoppers in this world.

  1. Green grasshopper,
  2. wooden locusts,
  3. grasshopper,
  4. grasshopper praying mantis.

In my post this time as you see in the picture above is a green grasshopper. There are three main parts on every locust,
First, the head. Second, the chest or (thorax) Third, the stomach.

As a type of insect, grasshoppers have six legs, four short legs on the front that function for walking and two large and long legs used to jump. In addition grasshoppers also have two wings, two antennas, grasshoppers also have five eyes consisting of two compounds that serve as a detector of shapes and colors. and three ocelli eyes, also called single eyes that serve as a detector of light intensity. This type of eye is also owned by other insects such as flies and dragonflies and several other types of insects.

Grasshoppers do not have ears like other insects, but he can still hear the hearing aids on locusts called Tympanum, this tympanum that serves as a hearing tool on locusts, tympanum lies on the abdomen close to the wings and shaped like a big disc. And the respirator on the grasshopper is called the trachea.

The age of locusts is generally only two months after hatching. One month as a nymph and one month as an adult locust. For two months, the grasshopper undergoes a process of skin change and reproduction.

So, if you do not like grasshoppers, do not you kill it, just use coriander leaves to dispel grasshoppers. Because the age of locusts is not so long as we are human.
