Here is a beautiful Tanager - a common sight in my garden in Costa Rica but not easy to photograph always. I really love this shot I managed to get. Feathers are the most wonderful things!

I love how his feathers are tipped in Gold. He is very pretty, I love to collect feathers from my backyard visitors and his would be great to add.

Collecting feathers is like finding treasure almost. I don’t find many considering how many beautiful bright coloured birds there are in Costa Rica! 😂

That is too bad, I have been saving some for years now and I want to make a few dream catchers with the best of them. I had a friend give me some of her parrots colorful feathers so that will make a pretty one.

I don't think I've seen a green bird, at least outside of the pet store. That's quite a pretty bird. Up here in MN, we get scarlet tanagers, but no green ones.
