The Sun right after sunrise at 10,000 ft above sea level. No photo highlights or edit of any kind. All natural camera blurs and glares. Haleakalā volcano delivers stunning view to the sunrise & sunset watches, well paid off after getting up middle of a night and a wiggly drive to the summit of the this natural crater on Maui, Hawaii.

Canon EOS REBEL T4i, f/32, 1/4000sec, ISO6400, 56mm. Lens Canon EF-S 18-135mm 1:3.5-5.6 IS USM

Great...Here I would like to vocalise my voluminous gratefulness to you for your kindest gesture to upload such a picture, gratitude to the breathtaking skill of your photography and last but not the least the creator of the universe for enlivening you amongst us as all these three components catalyzed the occurance of this stunningly forby image. Fascinated, both spiritually and psychologically, to come to know about the existence of this masterpiece and hence I'm spellbound.

Woah! You got serious writing skills Akash :)

Keep it up buddy..Hope to see more of it.

Sunrise is always beautiful let alone with such a beautiful background at this height great picture taken.

Thank you for the feedback, Shaheer! :)

Wow, at 10,000 ft above sealevel...How did you experienced the air? How as breathing?
Lovely shot!

Air was perfect, comparing to the cold before the sunrise to the heat after .... but taking 3-4 hour into the crater without water was one mistake, will never forget not to repeat LOL TNX!

You did a good job of using the camera lens to make its own glare and star filter effect!

I don't remember which filter I was using .... crashed it over Maui volcanic rocks, having another one now :) While quality, granularity in particular, is killing here, I like softness, palette, and patterns of the glares. Thank you, Diane!!

Oh, I misunderstood then. I thought you didn't use a filter, because you said:

All natural camera blurs and glares.

If you used a filter, it was not exactly natural. LOL! Nothing wrong with that of course, just like there is nothing wrong with post processing, which used to be done in the darkroom. :-)

haha! sorry for being not precise, I am not a pro, just prock-tographer :) I did use good quality polarized lens filter, which crashed, regular one, not any color or other special filters. Did not alter the shot with software :) Like in music it might be a grand natural sound you can't ever make, while studio can do the magic and/or highlight the best values. Not religious to either extreme, but loving where art meets the craft and bending the genres and stereotypes .... well duhh, is must be a million and one shots where shooter like me points directly to the sun and see what happens LOL

It gives from very cool effects sometimes, but you have to be careful not to destroy your camera lens or your eyes if the sun is too high in the sky. LOL!

I find photos taken above clouds to be fascinating. Sometimes it appears like a different world!
On a technical question, why did you have such high ISO? came out quite noisy, no?

The answer is very non-technical - I got overexcited at the event, keep forgetting about knobs and dials LOL It is all like pebbles, guilty as charged :) Still every time I come across this one in my folder it gets me back to that theatrical morning on Mars :)

🤣🤣

I also bolted the shot as a cover for my similar crazy colors vibe music creation called Synth-phony :)
