This is good morning here. In fact this is one of the most beautiful mornings here. The rainy season has brought beauty to the small town where I live. Hamirpur town lies in Hamirpur district. It is a low range hill district in Himachal Pradesh. It has perfect weather because it has mild winter and summer both. This is how the skyline of the town looks like today morning.
When you go up to the mountainous districts like Kullu , Lahaul and Spiti winters get very cold. And if you go to Una in the southern part of Himachal, summers are very hot.
Hamirpur is the place of the mild weather. For a fun fact, I must tell you that Hamirpur district has the highest road density in India in terms of road length per square kilometeres of the area. Hamirpur is the place from where Anurag Thakur comes.
One more thing that Hamirpur is famous for is the beautiful campus of NIT Hamirpur. This is the centrally funded engineering college of national importance.
Himachal Pradesh now has got IIT at Mandi but NIT Hamirpur is the old one established in the year of 1986. I have been to IIT Mandi last year and I saw its campus is growing fast in terms of infrastructure, but it can not match that of NIT Hamirpur yet.
While I wrote the above paragraph, see how the clouds changed the shape.
