What if I told you I had a recipe for healthy brownies? Who else is a dessert lover out there? Well then these healthier brownies are for you!!!
These brownies are made without white flour, butter, or refined sugar.
How are they sweet then? Want to take a guess?
DATES!!! I made these brownies with Medjool dates for sweetness :)
Ingredients:
1 cup, 2 tbsp of almond flour
1/2 cup of unsweetened cocoa powder
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup coconut oil
2 tsp vanilla extract
2 large eggs
1/4 cup dark chocolate chips
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp baking powder
1 cup Medjool dates
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 350.
Add almond flour, salt, dates, honey, coconut oil, vanilla, and cocoa powder to a food processor.
Add in one egg and pulse. Then add in second egg.
Add mixture to baking dish and toss chocolate chips on top of brownies.
Bake for 20-25 minutes.
You can add melted chocolate chips on top like I did :)
