Celebrating Diwali - The Festival of Lights

in photography •  7 years ago

Festivals are a time of celebration when you come together with your families and friends and revel in the joys of festivities. Today, Hindus all around the planet are celebrating Diwali, the festival of light. Diwali is perhaps the most important festivals of the Hindus and like with other of our festivals, it is filled with colours, lights, awesome food, laughter and yes firecrackers!

I too, have come to visit my parents in Nepal to celebrate Diwali with them. It's a time of the year that I always look forward to as I enjoy every part of it. Instead of explaining to you what it is and why and how it is celebrated, I would like to share some photos that I took today.
