Im not a crazy petrol head, but every few years myself and old friends like to get to the BTCC (British Touring Cars Championships) for at least the season final, which is usually ar the Brands Hatch circuit in Kent, England.
As you see the weather was beautiful and sunny, the only problem was we were camping for the weekend and the clear skies made it really cold at night, we almost had frost on the tents in the early morning.
Still, the sun came up in the morning and warmed our chilly bones somewhat.
After qualifying on the Saturday we had a full day of racing on the Sunday, it was championship racing for a number of classes, not just BTCC, we had some Formula 4 cars:
As well as Ginetta, Porsche and even Renault Clios:
Getting clear shots of the track is hard without a press pass but I managed to shoot some from a decent vantage point:
All in all it was a great fun, if rather cold weekend, perhaps next time we will go in the summer-time.
Thanks for the great post. Maybe next time you'll be looking at a Formula Student race :)
