Sand Sculptures

Every year Surfers Paradise on the Gold Coast hosts the Sand Sculpting competition as part of its annual Arts Festival. We always take the kids to see the artists in action and take a look at what they come up with every year. You definitely need to be patient and talented to be a sand sculptor!

I was down in surfers on Wednesday and missed these completely lol. I saw the flying squid and meter maids but no sand sculptures...maybe cause of the meter maids hehehe

I had already put three Australian locations on my Bucket list. I didn't think I'd add one more until I saw this and had to add the West Coast too. I'm a theme park fan.
