Color comes in many ways. In the oceans it's usually from microscopic bacteria that the large animals consume or that live on them. Anemones are no exception to this. As filer feeders they consume thousands of liters of water in their lifetimes filtering out what they need to survive.
Typically these Giant Plumose Anemones are a brilliant white but on the rare occasion there are an orange variation. They are quite unique and very cool to photography.
