What happens to ships and boats when we decided that its no longer useful.

Some get junked and become recycled into something new and is once again useful others might end up being intentionally sunk for artificial reefs or others sink on their own.

Bangladesh has a crazy boat scrap yard and they take appart boats from around the world. It's a very dangerous job and many get injured.
It must be a fascinating place to visit:

Great shot and thanks for sharing.

Another beautiful piece! I don't have any names that pop in my head yet. Love the colors too. When I look at it I feel that all my senses are affected. Smell, sight, sensations, sound... You have captured the essence of witnessing this awe inspiring place.

Mate,Did you just find Titanic?😝

Something haunting about wrecks, dead in their own right but teeming with the life their carcasses support. Very cool.

Nice shots! Love to dive on intentionally sunk ships but even love the real wrecks more. Favorite ones for me thus far are some Japanese WW2 wrecks @ Coron - Philippines.

Awesome shots . Nice work , the passion of photography burning inside me😎

perfect photos,, @scottdphoto

very good keep it up <3

That's crazy seeing them in the bottom of the water being used for nothing when they were once something of value!

Seeing all these great pictures, its killing me that I just have a cellphone for a camera right lol these pictures are beautiful

This is so pretty, but I've always wondered how much pollution it causes. Do the risks not outweigh the benefits?

Are those parts of sunk ship @scottdphoto?. Though those pictures are breath taking.

Some incredible shots. :)

It's a good way to generate revenue from tourism as well.
