Zaryadye Park in Moscow

in photography •  7 years ago

Moscow’s newest park rubs shoulders with the Kremlin walls and it is far from boring as the landscape features a series of pathways divided into four artificial micro climates of forest, steppe, tundra, and floodplains. Each with their own appropriately chosen plants, geological features, trees and so on, it provides a thrilling experience of making your way through the various Russian landscapes. I took this photo of St. Basils Cathedral and Spasskaya Tower (my favourite building in Moscow) from the Park. Notice the ongoing renovations to the Kremlin Wall.
