A journey in Asia - China: Guilin

Hi,

Today I will introduce my pictures from Guilin 桂林 and its area.
Located in the southern part of China bordering Vietnam, Guangxi province is famous for its mountains, the scenery is stunning.

Guilin:

The elephant trunk hill

Guilin has few caves to visit, whose the "Reed flute cave":

River Li cruise (from Guilin to Yangshuo):

Fresh fruits delivery...

This mountain is famous amongst the Chinese folklore. It says that few people can count seven horses on its facade...

A fisher man and occasionally a photo seller.

Miao village:

Miao people are one of the many minorities in China, and there are few villages that can be visited near Guilin.

I have not doubt that they can contest for the longest hair in the world. They're secret is, for what they said, the use of rice water for washing.

The girls cut only once their hair ; when they become women.

Ginger chicken and rice cooked in bamboos, just WOW !

Longsheng Rice Terrace aka "Dragon's Backbone" :

It is still for me my favourite discovery of the trip, a "must do" if you pass there.
