Gigantic Banyan Tree International Marketplace Waikiki, Oahu @senseicat

in photography •  7 years ago

At the end of our day, I realized that we took many photos of the impressive trees here on Oahu and this one is no exception.

It is a banyan tree inside the new International marketplace. It was a part of the original International marketplace and it appears that they built the new building preserving the original tree.

I love it when people respect nature more than business, and this kind of tree is in the middle of the yard. It actually gives more look to the shop :)

Deep down, in my guts. I strong believe the Banyan Tree must have a great amount of medicinal contents. And also a great place to serve as a tourist attraction centre. Great picture @senseicat

A place on my to-go-list :)

I was stationed in Hawa'ii for 4 years out of Pearl Harbor. Spent a lot of time in downtown Wakiki and I know this tree and the International Marketplace, very well. Great shot of it. If you get a chance, you should check out the falls on the North Shore side of the island. A bit of a hike, but well worth it.

I love sitting outside starring at the beauty of nature.

Wow! That is amazing. So stunning and beautiful.

I like your antique banyah trees posting. If I am not mistaken, in Indonesia , we call it Beringin tree.
