After a long uncomfortable bus ride from Germany, we (me and my five friends) reached Paris at early morning 5.30. The cold was bearable and I was so happy that I don't have to wear my Jerkin. We went to the restroom and got freshened up (The common toilets was not that clean compared Germany). We went out had our first coffee and started our day in Paris.
You should either know French or should have google otherwise you are a Jon Snow (You know nothing!) in Paris. The homework we did before the trip helped us to select the ticket that we need to go to the city. But the ticket machine sucks in Paris. We had a tough time with the machine but managed to reach the centre of the city.
Our first walk in the city of love began.
We were walking towards the McDonalds. The only food shop that is there for all the travellers when comes to non-business hours service. The walk was full of astonishment of the city's beauty.
Though my stomach was shouting at my brain, the eyes and the brain was dumbstruck with the beauty of the city. Later even the stomach got dumbstruck with the beauty of the French girls.
After feeding my eyes, and stomach enough to survive next few hours we started our walk towards the famous the "Eiffel tower". The place that comes to your mind as soon as you think of Paris. The symbol of Paris. Now with more calm mind, I started to admire not only the buildings but the streets itself. They were so beautiful and well structured.
The Eiffel tower was majestic, adorable, beautiful. We were from the south side of the Eiffel tower where you don't get the chance to see the tower from the long distance. So for us, the first look itself was magnificent.
Sexy! Isn't it ?? I think it’s the curve that makes us think like that. One might think what is very tough in building this! Yes, it is easy to build one now but not before 1900. That too completely made with iron. No way dude!
Since it was just opened, we made it easily through the security check and officially entered the Eiffel tower.
Now the mission is to reach the top. We took the staircase to skip the long line for the lift and to save some euros. The climbing part is really challenging friends. It will test your stamina and strength.
The view you see as soon as you reach the first level will make you feel "all the pain are worth".
Then we explored North, South, East and West of the first level and saw the awesome views.
Here is the photo of me with Seine river.
May be the Seine river looks more beautiful without me!
Not getting tired with the beautiful views we continued our mission to the next level. The second level. Now we also know that we will get a better view from there gave the enough motivation.
Yup! Climbing to the second level was more long and tough. But we survived.
A panoramic picture.
From there not only the down part but also the top part looked more awesome.
The next pic is my fav pic of the whole trip
The coolest thing is that they have a café there. And they serve Champaign and other café stuffs too! The only thing that my eyes saw was Champaign.
Cheers friends!
It was like "the moment". Champagne in your blood, happiness in your heart, smile in your face, and beautiful views in your eyes (I didn't have a pair, that was the sad part! But chuck it lets continue the happy story). Then we decided to finish of the mission by reaching the last and the top level. There is no steps to there so now we have to take the elevator.
Damnnnnn! There was this loooooooooong line for the elevator. What will you do? Will you wait? However I didn't wait. You see! Not all the stories are mission accomplished successful stories. :P :P
Then we started walking in the same direction of the gravitational force.
And the last daylight photo beneath the Eiffel tower
That was the most memorable time of my life. I thought I saw the Eiffel tower completely. But it is not complete until you see the night view.
Yes! The night view of the Eiffel tower is the most beautiful scene that I have ever seen in my life.
And that’s it for this blog about the Eiffel tower. More about my Paris trip in my upcoming blogs.
Thanks a lot for reading! :) :)
